今年も4月になりました。


4月は個人的にはショーの月。

パッと思いつくだけでも、

タイ
ベトナム
香港
広州
台北

のショーが、この一か月の間に開催されます。


比較的近距離の我々アジアのバイヤーは行ったり来たり出来ますが
遠方のヨーロッパやアメリカのバイヤーはそうもいかないため、
巨大な荷物を抱えてショーを転戦するようです。

さすがに長年やっているので小躍りするような発見はありませんが、
それでもやはり短時間で数千、数万の商品を見ることができる
トレーディングショーは重要です。


ただね・・・一日2万歩から3万歩くらい歩くんですよ。
距離にすると優に10km以上。

膝の軟骨すり減るわ。
グルコサミン持って来い！


しかもショーの会場って
万国共通で大体飯が高くてマズイ。


某トレーディングショー会場のマクドナルドは
イメージできないくらいのマズさ。

ねぇマックってこんなにマズく作れるの？
しかも食べもしないパイまでセットでついてくるし・・・
一度なんてビックマックにレタス入ってなかった(-_-ﾒ)


今年も年寄りにはハードな4月が始まってしまいました・・・

とにかく会場が広くて・・・

I can think of several shows in a second in

Thailand
Vietnam
Hong Kong
Guangzhou
Taipei

will be hold in just a month.


Our Asian buyers can come and go easy due to short distance but European and American buyers can't do that so they have to struggle to operate a show with huge luggage

As expected, there are no discoveries that will make me jumping for joy, but a trading shows like these that can able to see thousands or millions of items in a short of time are still important.


However that mean I have to walking about 20,000 steps to 30,000 steps a day
literally over 10km

and it make my cartilage of the knee worn out, so I always bring Glucosamine.


Moreover, I suppose it's the same everywhere in the world that most of venue's food is expensive but horrible.

A certain trading show venue McDonald store's dish is unbelievable terrified?
God, McDonald can make something that taste this bad?
It also include a set of pies that I don't eat...
Once time I didn't have lettuce in my set when eating at Big Mac(-_-M)


All I can say that a hard April has started for elderly.

昨日香港出張より戻って来ました。


通常であれば、エージェントの事務所から
彼の運転で空港へと向かうのですが
昨日はフライトの空きがなく、
朝8:00の飛行機になってしまった為に
UBERで空港へ。


ご存知の方が多いと思うのですが
UBERとはインターネットの配車サービス。

要はスマホでタクシー呼べるよ、ということです。


基本的に乗る場所、降りる場所
すべて携帯で指示するので
言葉が通じなくても大丈夫。


また、事前に確定した代金をカードで支払うので、
乗るなり

「300バーツOK？」（どこの国だかわかっちゃうね）

みたいな
メーターを倒さないクズドライバー対策にも有効です。


で、昨日の話ですが
朝5:50にUBERで配車手配したところ、
来た車が

MODEL Xはガルウィング、スーパーカー世代としてはテンション上がる

なんとTESLA MODEL Xだったんですよ。


車好きの人なら良く知っていると思うのですが、
TESLAとは電気自動車専門のメーカーで
香港では税制の優遇もあってよく見るのですが
日本ではまず見ない車。

当然乗ったことはありません。


いやぁテンション上がりましたね。

スマホで電気自動車を手配

ちょっと未来を感じた瞬間でした。


ちなみに乗り心地はガタガタしていて
お世辞にも褒められるものではありませんでした。

車内けっこううるさいし・・・

この価格帯の車にしてはイマイチ。


やはりその辺り、
これまでの技術の蓄積が反映されるのかなと思いました。

I just came back from the Hong Kong business trip yesterday.


I usually go to airport from agent's office by their car.
But there is no flight left yesterday so I go to the airport by Uber to catch 8a.m plane.


I think a lot of people have already known that Uber is an internet based transportation service.

It's mean that you call a taxi through a smartphone.


Basically, we will give instruction about drop-off point and pick-up point therefore it's gonna be OK if you don't communicate directly with taxi driver.


Also, you pay the predefined fee by your card
so this is an effective method to avoid bad taxi drivers who ask


"300 bath, OK?" (You can guess which country right away)

after you get in immediately.


So, go back to yesterday's story, the car came following my order at 5:50 morning.

I was really excited when I saw the MODEL X gull wing door super car

Oh GOD! It's was a TESLA MODEL X.


Well for car person have already known that
TESLA is a manufacturer specializing in electric car
which you can see often in Hong Kong because of their open tax policy
but rarely come cross in Japan.

Hence, I have never rode it before.


Oh boy. I felt so high!

Arranging an electric car with a smartphone which was a moment that I can felt the step of future.


By the way, the ride sensation was rattling that it was hard to compliment on.

Inside the car is pretty noisy as well... Honestly, the car isn't good with that kind of price.


As result, I think this situation is reflecting the accumulation of technology so far.


So recommending to Mr. Elon Musk!

Let's do a little better in suspension and sound insulation!

義烏に出張中 | During a business trip to Yiwu

義烏。

おそらくほとんどの方には
なじみのない地名かと・・・


上海から高速鉄道で2時間前後かかるこの街には、
世界で一番大きいと思われる市場があります。

なんせその建物は
グーグルマップでその形がはっきり認識できるくらい。

ひょっとすると宇宙からでも見えるんじゃないか・・・

いや見えないかさすがに。

大気汚染の影響か毎朝白っぽい義烏の朝

一般的に市場と言われてイメージするモノからは
程遠いくらい大きいこの市場には、
世界中からバイヤーが集まってきます。


10年くらい前からこちらの市場へと買い付けに訪れていますが、
こちらの市場の特徴は、大きさもさることながら・・・

品質が悪い(´^｀;)


いまでこそ慣れましたが、
とにかく笑っちゃうくらい品質が悪い。


生地モノの縫い目がほつれている、
傷がついている、
ゴミが入っている、
動かない、
パーツ不足、
カビている
あたりはまぁ普通。


中には
色違い、
サイズ違い、
そもそも頼んだものと全く別のものが入っている・・・・等々
もう最後のほうは品質以前の問題なのですが・・・

一見するといい感じなんですがね・・・

しかもその不良の比率が、
下手すると50パーセント以上と
もう常識では計り知れないレベル。

当然そのままでは売り物にならないので、
現地の商社さんの全量検品を経て日本に入ってきます。


そこまでして何故ここを訪れるのかと言えば、
規模と値段。

これだけの商品を短時間でチェックできる場所は
そうそうありませんし、
品質相応というかお値段もかなり安めです。


昨日からこちらの市場を、目新しいものを求めて
朝から夕方までウロウロと徘徊しております。


はぁ、足痛い・・・


老体に鞭打ってあと一日、頑張ります。

笑えたけど買いませんでした。だって高いだもん

Yiwu is probably an unfamiliar place to most people.

There is a market which seems to be the largest in the world in this town which takes around two hours by high speed train from Shanghai.
Because it's can be recognize clearly on the Google map.
Perhaps it can be seen from space as well...

Just kidding!

ou can see something white in Yiwu morning due to influence of air pollution

In this market which is far from illusion buyers are gathering from all over the world.

About 10 years ago we have visited this market to purchase product, but this market's feature beside its size is

the quality is bad (´^｀;)


Now I got used to it but the quality is bad as it makes me laugh.

Something like frayed seams, scratched, contained garbage, don't moving, lacking parts, got moldy is normal.

Sometime it got wrong color and size as well. Other than that they delivered completely different good from what I ordered...It's more serious problem than quality issue.

Although it feels nice at first glance...

Moreover, the rate of this poor situation is over 50 percent than common.

Naturally it won't be sold as it's, so we will import them into Japan after the local firm pass the good quantity test.


Talk about reasons why we are visiting there are the scale and price.
There aren't so many places where it's quite easy to check the product in a short time, and the quality is reasonable and the price is pretty cheap.

Since yesterday I have been loiter in this market to find something new and interesting.


Ha~ my legs is hurt.


I will try my best with this old body for one more last day.

It's funny but I didn't buy it since it's expensive.

汕頭のおやぶん 3 | The boss of Shantou 3

その後も、おやぶんのマネージメントのおかげで
仕事は非常にスムースに進みます。


いつもなら我先にと入り口に押し寄せるセールスマンたちも
今日は一列に整列です。


でも、1時間経ち、2時間経ちするうちに問題が・・・


おやぶん、飽きてきました。

ずっと座っているのが苦手みたいです。


そりゃそうだ、おやぶんだもの。


セールマンが持ってきたサンプルに手を出して
遊んでいるうちはまだ良かった。

そのうち誰かが持っていた電撃ラケットで
セールスマンの頭をたたき始めました。


電撃ラケットって知ってますか？

ハエとか蚊なんかを叩くテニスラケット状のもの。

叩いた瞬間にそこそこ高圧な電流が流れます。


部屋の中に

「バチッ、バチッ」

という音と、
食らったセールスマンの

「アヒャ、やめてくださいよぉ」

という声が・・・
そこにかぶさるおやぶんの

「ガハハハハハ」

という豪快な笑い声。


いやちょっとした地獄絵図でした。


でもお前らには手を出さなかったんだから良かったじゃないか？


うん確かに手は出さないし、僕らには非常に紳士でしたよ。
ある一瞬を除いては・・・


商談中に、なんか冴えない自動車のおもちゃのサンプルを
おやぶんが持ってきたんですよ。


まぁ通常なら即決で

「要らない」

っていうタイプの商品。


ふとウチのエージェントの顔見たら
ものすごい真剣な表情で自分の顔見つめてて・・・


察しましたよさすがに。

電撃ラケット喰らうの嫌だしね。
ビシッと言ってやりました。

「かっこいいですね、とりあえずコンテナ1本貰いますよ」


今思うとこれが忖度ってやつ・・・


ちなみにおやぶんは3年ほどたってバブルが崩壊したら、
サッサとおもちゃや止めちゃいました。


今頃何してるんだか・・・
別に会いたかないけどw

That sound and the salesman got hit's voice.

Then boss's laugh voice

"Gyahahaha"

pile up.


It just was a bit bad context.


But are you make sure you won't act like that if it was you?


Yes, we won't do that. He is completely gentlemen for us.
Except for a moment...


During the negotiation, The boss brought samples from an inexperienced car's toys.

Well ordinary it's a "don't need it" prompt decision product.


Suddenly when looking at the face of the agent's presence, looking at my face with a tremendously serious expression...

I can guess his though.
I don't want to get electric shock rackets to my head.
Without second thought, I said.

“Wow, it's cool, I'll have one container for now."

By the way, after about 3 years the Bubble collapsed, and then boss stopped the toy business immediately.


I wonder what he is doing by now...
Though I don't want to see him at all.

カモが鎮座している部屋の前で、
おとなしく順番を待つことなんて中国人に出来る？


言うまでもなく無理。


ということで、
自分たちが入っている部屋の前はいつもけっこうなカオス。


それこそ小突き合い程度で済めばいいけど、
下手すると怒号の響きあう戦場に。

トイレに出るのも躊躇するような状況に
いつもなっていたんですが・・・

その日に限って部屋の前はシーンと・・・

なんか無駄話すらあまりしない。


おとなしく並んでる。

あの中国人たちが？


しかも質の悪いおもちゃ村のセールマンたちです。


そこに外から、何も考えずに
ワイワイガヤガヤと賑やかに
数名のセールスマンが建物に入ってきて、
何も考えずにいつも通り割込みしたところ

「並べや、このクソやろぉ～」

外れの方に座っていた人相の悪いおっさんが立ち上がって、
怒号とともに割込み野郎の背中に飛び蹴り。


くらった方も半分チンピラみたいなやつらですから

「くぁwせdrftgyふじこlp」



反撃に出るなコレ。

やばい大乱闘かも・・・
と思ったら素直に

「すみません」

って言って外に出ていきました。



何事？


部屋に入ってエージェントに聞きました。

「アレ何者だよ？」
「実は地元のアチラ関係のおやぶんなんだよね」

なんでもおもちゃが儲かると聞きつけたおやぶんは、
副業でこの玩具商社をオープンしたそうで

The one who got kicked seem to be a delinquent as well

"Fuck!! What's the hell?"

He'll absolutely pay back.
Crap, it's gonna be big brawl... I though, then

"I'm so sorry"
He said, then he went out.



What?


I heard from everyone in the room.

"Who's he?"
"Actually, he is the boss of mafia in this village."

They said that boss  of mafia heard that the toys is quite profitable, so he decided to open company of toy as a side business in this village.

中国のホテルのお話 | A story about a hotel in China

嫌なニュースを見てしまいました・・・


中国のホテルの部屋の清掃担当が
トイレ用のモップでコップを洗っていた、
という衝撃のニュース。

しかも使用済のバスタオルで
そのコップを拭いていたというからたまりません。


でも中国ならありうる話・・・・


ここ最近では、可能な限り中国に滞在しないようにしているものの、
それでも平均すれば1か月に1泊程度は中国のホテル泊。


いや、マジであれ見たら無理。
ホント勘弁してください。

もう2度とホテルのコップは使えないわ。


もはやトラウマです。


でも工場でも勝手に工員が工程を削減してしまったり、
こちらの指示を無視して
オリジナリティあふれる商品を生産してしまうのは、よくある話。


セロテープ2カ所貼れと言っているのに
1カ所しか張らないなんてざらです。

当人曰く「その方が早いから」。

結果、日本ですべての商品にセロテープを追加。


商品の色も作るたびにバラバラ・・・
濃かったり薄かったり。

工場曰く「そんな細かいこと言うのは日本人だけだよ」
検品して抜き取るのが面倒くさい。


その他にも、数が違う、他の商品と混ざっている、
パッケージに逆向きに入っている、電池が切れている、
商品が傷だらけ、割れてる、部品が外れてる、臭い、etc........


いや決してウチの商品が
全て割れてて臭くて逆向きに入っている訳ではありませんので・・・

ときどき問題がありますね、というお話です。


ホテルの件もおそらく中国とお取引のある方なら
「あーやっぱり」くらいの感想ではないでしょうか。

今月もまた出張があり中国へ・・・

一見するとすごく清潔なんですがねぇ

I unintentionally heard a bad news...

Moreover, I can't stand that they use secondhand bath towels to wipe it.

Then again there are possible stories in China...


Although recently I try not to stay in China as much as possible, but I still have to staying at the hotel in China about 1 night in a month on average.

No, it's really impossible, please give me some mercy.
I will never use the hotel's cups ever again.

It has been become trauma for me.


However even at the factory, workers arbitrarily reduce the processes, they ignore our instructions and end up produce full of originality goods which is common.


Such as although it's said that stick the tape into 2 places but they only paste into one place.

And the workers said "It's fast that way".
As the result all products in Japan have to add more scotch tape to it.


Likewise the product's color changes after produce every time... It becomes strong then become light.

The factories said "It's only Japanese who pay attention on something that minor".
It is troublesome to check the goods then pull out.


Other than that, quantity is different, mixed with other products, the package is in the opposite direction, the batteries are out, the product is full of scratches, cracked, parts broken, smell, etc...

Well, it's not like all our goods is broken or smells and or in the opposite direction...

I just say we have problem sometime.


The hotel case in China probably similar, their partner may just thinking "Ah, as I though".
I have a business trip to China this month as well. O-M-G!!!
