今後おもちゃがどうなっていくのか・・・

正直全くわかりません。


ただ販売する側の目線から考えると、
このお仕事を続けていきたいのなら
少し考えなくてはいけないのは間違いないよね。


例えば、


大人に売る

大人のマニアに売るのはいいよね。
お金もってるからいっぱい買ってくれるし。

例えば鉄道だったりキャラクター商品だったり、
アニメ関連だったり。

ただ作り手側も好きじゃないと無理だ・・・
適当に作ると素人ってばれちゃう。


衝動買いの対象としてイベント会場や施設で売る

ウチがやってるのがここかな。
どこかに行けば記念品の一つも欲しくなるから。

家族そろってお出かけで気分上々、
財布のひもが緩んでいるので買ってもらいやすい。

なんか言葉は悪いけど火事場泥棒みたいな気もしますが・・・


お年寄りに売る

一時期、シルバー向けの玩具開発を！
なんて風潮ありましたが、
すっかり消え去りました。

年寄りに、
年寄りのボケ防止に最適なおもちゃです
ってアプローチすりゃ怒られるわw
年寄りに面と向かって年寄りって言っちゃダメだって。

人数は増えるしマーケットとして有望だけど攻め方が難しい。


子供向けホビーとして確立して売る

例えばベイブレードだったり、ミニ4駆だったり・・・

おもちゃの一ジャンルではなく
その商品自体が一つのジャンル。

一度定着してしまえばパーツも含めて長期的に売れる。

ただしプロモーションも含めて莫大な先行投資が必要だね。


いままでと同じような商品を、
いままでと同じような売り場に売って生きていくことは、
ちょっと難しいと思う。


どこぞのドラマの足袋屋みたいに
汗と涙で難局を乗り越えられれば良いんだけど、
現実は中々甘くないぞ・・・

What will happen with toys in future...

Actually, I don't know at all.


However, just thinking from selling side, if you want to continue working in this industry then there is no doubt that you have to considering a bit.


For instant:


Selling to adult

Selling to Adult's mania
They got money, so they can buy a lot for us.

Such as toy train, character goods or anime related products.

But, creators one also has to love it unless it's meaningless.
If you make it lighthearted then you will be exposed as a amateur.


Selling at event venue, museum shop for impulse buy

I guess we are using the method
Selling at event venues and facilities with impulsive buying customer
Because you'd want at least a souvenir when you visit somewhere.

Going out with family make you happy, therefore it's easy to get bought for us.

It sounds bad, but I feel like fire looter.


Sell to the elderly

Few years ago, a lot of company try to sell toys for elderly!
Which was a trend, but it completely disappeared.

You can get angry if you approach the elderly with a toy to prevent their forgetfulness.
You can't say about the elderly towards the elderly.

The number of people will increase so it's becoming a promising market, but it's difficult to move forward.


As children's hobby, we establish and sell

Such as beyblade, mini 4-wheel drive...
It's not a genre of toys, the item itself is a genre.
Once it settled, it can be sold for long term with all the parts of item.

However, huge leading investment is necessary including promotion.


I think it's a bit difficult to continue to handle familiar items at the same store as the past.

The situation is totally different from TV or movie, even with sweat and tears it is not easy to overcome it.
